Today, our three trainers—MIYU, MAMORI, and ERIKA—are answering some of the most common questions we receive from people considering a trial session and from current members.
We’ll answer each question in a casual roundtable-style Q&A!
Q1. I’m a complete beginner. Will I be able to keep up?
MIYU:
Absolutely—200% yes! In fact, beginners are exactly the people we want to support!
MAMORI:
Around 80% of Gran Gym clients start with little or no exercise experience. There’s no need to worry about what anyone else thinks.
ERIKA:
We create a manageable one-on-one program based on your fitness level and how you feel that day, so there’s nothing to worry about. We can start with something simple, such as learning the correct squat position together. 🤝
Q2. Are there strict diet rules? Do I have to give up alcohol or ramen?
MIYU:
No, we don’t ban them! I love drinking and eating out too, so I completely understand how you feel. (Laughs)
ERIKA:
A diet based only on restriction will never last. What matters is learning how to balance things intelligently—for example, how to adjust your meals the following day after eating something heavier. 💡
MAMORI:
We have many members who maintain lean, healthy physiques while still enjoying ramen once or twice a month. We’ll give you advice that fits your lifestyle.
Q3. What should I bring or wear for the trial session?
MAMORI:
Basically, you can come completely empty-handed!
ERIKA:
We provide everything you need at no additional cost, including workout clothes, towels, indoor training shoes, and mineral water.
MIYU:
Feel free to stop by after work or while you’re already out. You can come without bringing anything!
Q4. How do reservations work after joining?
ERIKA:
The booking process is very simple!
MAMORI:
You can send your preferred dates through the official LINE account for members. You can also ask your trainer during each session, and we can reserve your next appointment on the spot.
MIYU:
Busy professionals often tell us that this system is very convenient because they can arrange their sessions easily through LINE, even when their schedules are difficult to confirm in advance.
Q5. What is the difference between the VIP Course and the A Course?
MIYU:
The main differences are whether you can choose your trainer and the length of each session!
MAMORI:
With the VIP Course, you can request your preferred trainer. Each session is a generous 75 minutes, including changing time, allowing us to provide more detailed support with posture, nutrition, and training. 👑
ERIKA:
With the A Course, your trainer is assigned at random—but every trainer is a professional, so you’re in safe hands! Each session lasts 60 minutes, including changing time, making it a standard course designed for focused and efficient training. Choose the course that best matches your goals.
Q6. I’m worried about paying a large amount upfront. Are installment payments available?
MAMORI:
Yes, of course! Please don’t worry.
ERIKA:
We accept credit card payments, so you may be able to change the payment to installments or revolving payments afterward through your credit card company.
MIYU:
Even if paying the full amount this month would be difficult, you can still begin your body transformation now at a manageable pace. Please feel free to ask us about payment options during your trial session. 🤝
