Introduction
Hello!
I’m ERIKA, a trainer at Gran Gym. 😊
Welcome to Vol.2 of our Gran Gym Trainer Introduction Series!
In this article, I’d like to share my daily routine, eating habits, the lifestyle choices I make to maintain my physique, and my approach to coaching.
If you’re considering joining a men’s personal gym, you may be wondering what kind of trainer you’ll work with and whether you’ll be able to stay consistent.
I hope this article gives you a better sense of my personality and the coaching style we value at Gran Gym.
About Trainer ERIKA
Hello again! I’m ERIKA, one of the trainers at Gran Gym.
I’ve always been passionate about health and fitness. In addition to strength training, I enjoy helping clients improve their posture and flexibility through stretching and corrective exercises.
When people think about body transformation, many immediately picture lifting weights.
However, posture, mobility, and the way you use your body in daily life are just as important.
Whether your goal is weight loss, body recomposition, improving shoulder stiffness, correcting your posture, or simply becoming more active, I strive to create a plan that is both effective and sustainable for each individual.
My Daily Routine
To be honest…
I don’t really have a strict daily routine! (Laughs)
My schedule changes from day to day.
Some mornings begin with early client sessions, while other days allow me a little more time before work.
One thing I do try to prioritize is eating a proper breakfast.
If I start moving without eating anything, I notice that my body feels heavier and it’s harder to stay focused throughout the day.
That’s why I try to fuel my body first thing in the morning so I can perform at my best.
And there’s one more daily habit I never skip…
I play Animal Crossing every single day. (Laughs)
I chat with my squirrel villagers every day.
Even when life gets busy, taking a little time for something I genuinely enjoy helps reset my mind.
Training and nutrition are important, but so is having small moments that help you relax.
What I Usually Eat
For breakfast, I usually eat rice with a raw egg and some fruit.
It’s quick, satisfying, and gives me both carbohydrates for energy and protein from the egg.
Adding fruit also helps me start the morning feeling refreshed.
Lunch often consists of boiled eggs or a protein shake.
Some days my schedule is so busy that I don’t have much time to eat, so I always make sure I have quick protein sources available.
Having foods that are easy to eat, even on busy days, makes it much easier to stay consistent.
For dinner, I usually focus on protein and vegetables.
Whether it’s meat or fish, I try to include a good source of protein along with vegetables.
That combination keeps me satisfied while also supporting my training.
That said…
Since I’m fairly disciplined most of the time, I don’t worry about calories when I go out to eat. (Laughs)
If I restricted myself even during special occasions, nutrition would become stressful.
Instead, I enjoy those meals and simply return to my normal eating habits afterward.
For me, maintaining balance is much more important than striving for perfection.
How I Maintain My Physique
The biggest thing I focus on is maintaining balance in my diet.
I cook for myself most of the time, but I don’t follow extreme diets or strict food restrictions.
Trying to eat perfectly every single day isn’t realistic.
Long-term consistency matters much more than short-term perfection.
Simple habits such as:
- Eating enough protein
- Including vegetables with meals
- Making small adjustments after eating out
are much easier to maintain over time.
I don’t see nutrition as something that requires sacrifice.
I see it as a daily habit of taking care of my body.
A Message to My Male Clients
One thing I’d really like men to understand is that strength training isn’t just about changing your appearance.
Of course, building muscle and improving your physique will change how you look.
But training can also increase your confidence and improve your performance at work and in your hobbies.
Many people feel nervous before they start.
“I’ve never been good at exercising.”
“I’ve never joined a gym.”
“What if I can’t keep up?”
Those feelings are completely normal.
But once you take that first step, your body gradually begins to change.
You don’t have to be perfect from the beginning.
Let’s enjoy the process together.
My Coaching Philosophy at Gran Gym
At Gran Gym, every training program is tailored to each client’s goals and physical condition.
Some clients want to lose weight.
Others want to build muscle.
Some hope to improve their posture or become more flexible.
Because everyone’s goals are different, I don’t believe in giving everyone the same program.
Instead, I create personalized training plans based on each individual’s body and lifestyle.
During every session, I carefully monitor posture, movement, and exercise technique to ensure clients train safely and effectively.
When people train on their own, it’s common to miss the target muscles or unknowingly develop poor movement patterns.
I work together with each client to correct those issues so they can make steady progress.
Stretching and posture correction are also areas I particularly enjoy teaching, so I support not only strength training but also overall movement quality and physical condition.
Final Thoughts
Thank you very much for reading!

The first step is always the hardest.

Whether your goal is weight loss, body recomposition, posture improvement, or stretching, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
